Aged Care facilities are subjected to an on-going Accreditation process by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency. Section 4.6 of the accreditation Standard has requirements in relation to Fire, Security and other Emergencies. Accreditation confirms compulsory annual training in Fire and Emergency Procedures and the provision of Evacuation Diagrams.
All Ready Safe assists Aged Care Organisations and individual facilities throughout Victoria to comply with Accreditation. Health Care Facilities have very special requirements and are covered by a separate standard AS 4083 – 2010 Planning for Emergencies – Health Care Facilities.
